Let alone a full weekend in the Orthodox Orchard, the Athonian State where we will experience the functions, the ritual, the Agion Oros cuisine, we will see Holy Remnants, miraculous images, unique relics. A journey through the thousands of years of Christianity, at the heart of Orthodox. But it’s NOT in any way a tourist product or attraction, it’s NOT characteristic of it, nor should it be treated like this. The visit to Mount Athos is NOT intended to gather yet another experience, but rather our spiritual rise.
