In this neighborhood with its medieval churches, squares and alleys, you will see images of the ancient Roman village that was once Barcelona. A cablecar ride up the green hill of Montjuic and a tour of the castle with its 17th century fortress is very interesting initially for the panoramic view it offers towards the port but also because it used to be a place of execution.
