Special and extroverted, young and complex, Barcelona with its Mediterranean temperament has all those elements that enchant its every visitor. Its neighborhoods are so distinct and different from each other…

Among these many neighborhoods, we singled out the most special ones…

The busiest pedestrian street in the city, with Gaudi attractions, the Teatre del Liceu and the famous Joan Miro mosaic but also with countless options for both entertainment and food. On your walk in Las Ramblas you will find what you are looking for.

2. Barri Gotic « Gothic District »
In this neighborhood with its medieval churches, squares and alleys, you will see images of the ancient Roman village that was once Barcelona. In the heart of the district dominates the magnificent Cathedral Carrer del Bisbe which impresses you both inside and outside. The buildings on Placa del Rei and the Carrer de Ferran pedestrian street also stand out.

3. Gaudi
Every corner of this city has a jewel of Gaudi, that special Spanish artist. The famous Sagrada Familia, the houses-museums Casa Battlo and Pedrera, but also Park Guell, his most complete masterpiece, which receives a large number of visitors every day and functions as museum with free admission.

4. Walk on the Beach

The walk from Port Vell to Passeig Joan de Borbo will make you understand why Barcelona is a favorite destination even in the summer. In the alleys in the heart of Barceloneta you will find countless restaurants with fresh seafood and traditional paella.

5. Montjuic (Jewish Mountain)
A cablecar ride up the green hill of Montjuic and a tour of the castle with its 17th century fortress is very interesting initially for the panoramic view it offers towards the port but also because it used to be a place of execution.

6. Market St. Josep Boqueria
The famous covered “folk” market with its vibrant authentic colors, traditional vendors hawking their wares, but also with beautifully hidden delicatessens and small tapas bars where you can taste their dishes.
